Zabrina Araya

When you walk into a room filled with people, it is undeniable that Zabrina stands out of the crowd with her exuberant presence and heartening confidence. As a polymath, she is a woman with multiple enterprises as a professional singer, teacher, make up artist, hairdresser and business owner of @cinnabubbas and @babybubbas_photography. Through thick and thin, she will be that friend that always has your back.

Main Values: "It's hard to narrow down my core values but to choose just three, I would go with Respect - I firmly believe any relationship can work if the foundation is built upon respect; Honesty - is practiced constructively through my career and valued through my personal relationships; and Commitment to Passion - because committing to your inspirations is committing to your happiness and real, raw and unforgiving passion is sexy."

Finding her calm: Subconsciously - I love to cook and bake for my friends and family and for my own satisfaction. Why? Firstly, you have an environment where you are in control of the outcome and for whatever is going on in my life at that moment, I know through this I will enjoy the process of my mind being absent while my body moves and have a tangible result for all my efforts to share with those around me. I believe you are a bi-product of your environment and I love to make people around me happy. This is my love language - it grounds and calms me and definitely describes an essence that represents a core part of who I am and who I want to continue being. Consciously, if I want to recharge and revive, it's usually taking a break with a cup of coffee or whatever beverage that I'm feeling, a purposeful stretch to relieve tension, a moment to lay down or a conversational release with my most nearest and dearest.

Favourite sense: It's the hardest thing to choose between senses. I wouldn't say I have a favourite, but the one I practice up-skilling and coordinating everyday especially through my singing is my aural ability. I learn through tactile and visual experiences and of course your olfactory senses are the strongest in terms of memory and taste... Well, that comes in handy for all my cooking and baking haha. I guess it depends on what I'm doing at the time.

3 things she is grateful for:

1. To be able to wake up to the gift of a new day next to my most favourite person in the world and have my health and my family's health in check. It's something that I never ever forget to pray for and that I will always express my gratitude towards.

2. I'm grateful for my strong support circle; my parents, my family, my besties and my loved ones. The people who recognise me for me that support me honestly and unconditionally have enabled me to reach for the things that I otherwise wouldn't have been able to achieve on my own. It really does take a village.

3. I'm thankful for all the guidance and lessons I've learned that are ultimately set me up for a life worth living for and a life to be excited about, through the art of my main inspiration - singing and music. Having the resolve to finally take on a long standing personal goal of mine and take a deeper educational approach to better myself and to have more to offer the people that I teach is something that i'm very proud of and will always continue to develop.
